Apr 17, 2008 () - High School Musical theater headliner Ashley Tisdale is negotiating with United Artists to star in a remaking of Stripling Witch. She is besides looking at production deals with FremantleMedia Northward US and Disney.

The master Teenager Witch (1989) was directed by Dorian Walker, and starred Robyn Lively as an unpopular high school stripling wHO learns that she's a descendant of the witches of Salem and has inherited their powers.

The one-year first-look product handle with Fremantle is for a reality that targets younger demographic and capitalizes on Tisdale's development brand value worldly concern widely.

The portion out with Disney Channel involves administrator producing a usher on her life working in a plaza, ahead she made it in usher biz playing rich-girl Sharpay Sir Arthur John Evans.

Tisdale returned from Auckland, Freshly Zealand, in mid March after wrapping up production on her theatrical performance debut film They Came From Upstairs, directed by John Schultz for Fox.

The celluloid tells the tale of a radical of kids wHO protect their vacation base from invading aliens.

Tisdale is presently in pre production for High School Musical comedy 3: Senior Year which is slated for release on TV and in theatres.
